COVID-19 Response to help minimize the spread.
At Hoegy Building our highest priority is the health and safety of all our staff, clients and our families.
We started on March 16th to implement protocols on dealing with COVID-19. We have been conducting weekly staff meetings covering and developing new protocols. You will find that where possible, doors should be locked to the site and hand sanitizing stations set up. When doors are locked, before you enter the site, phone numbers for our on site staff should be posted by the door. Upon entering, a staff member will ask you if you have been experiencing symptoms or if you have been in contact with someone who has. Our site protocol is to respect social distancing of 2 meters between individuals and proper hand washing and sanitizing practices. We will do our best to limit the number of people on site at one time. Sub trades must give 48 hour notice before coming on site to ensure entry. We ask that our sites are NOT visited after hours. Walk through with clients etc. can be done by a staff member on site (keeping social distancing rules).
For workers on site, they must use sanitizer upon arrival to site, and conduct proper hand washing practices throughout the day. They must also have a heightened sense of health and safety, using all PPE as directed. Onsite washrooms are cleaned, and ask that any individual including workers to wipe down/sanitize after each use. Cleaning products are on site and we ask that sub trades bring their own to ensure that cleaning is completed if supplies happen to run out.
Most of our suppliers have remained open, although they have closed their doors to the public, and we continue to get supplies in a safe and sanitary way. Building inspection protocols differ based on municipality. The process of inspections and supplies may cause delays. We will do our best to keep you informed, and will continue to accept new projects at this time.
Please be respectful and mindful of all actions.
IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING ANY SYMPTOMS THAT MAY RELATE TO COVID-19, SUCH AS FEVER, DRY COUGH, OR DIFFICULTY BREATHING, PLEASE DO NOT VISIT ANY CONSTRUCTION SITES.
